Jeffrey Epstein is not actually alive and playing Fortnite, Epic Games says

This is probably not something that the Fortnite social media team ever thought it would need to address in public. Epic Games, the developer behind the mega-popular battle royale shooter, had to set the record straight regarding the idea that deceased sex offender Jeffrey Epstein is still alive and playing Fortnite . The company's comms team took to X to publicly denounce the conspiracy theory, which had gained some traction online over the past few days. If that wasn't enough, Epic CEO Tim Sweeney put another nail in the coffin with a post of his own . This Tweet is currently unavailable. It might be loading or has been removed. If dark scenes are too dark on your TV, play around with these settings

Dark scenes being too dark is a common frustration of avid TV watchers. The ironic point of contention famously sent Game of Thrones fans into a spiral when the 2019 episode, literally titled "The Long Night," was borderline indecipherable. The cinematographer said it back then, and it's worth reiterating now: The cinematic content isn't always too dark. Your TV just isn't tuned properly. It's the same reason why Skinamarink didn't hit as hard for me when other people were mesmerized by it. That was partly my decrepit 2019 4K Roku TV's fault for being basic — from a technical standpoint, the best 4K TVs you can buy can simply render dark scenes better than cheap TVs. I witnessed it firsthand when I ditched that old LED TV for the mid-range TCL QM6K mini LED TV . But if you'd prefer to just work with the TV you have right now, there are ways to toggle your current TV settings to optimize dark content. SEE ALSO: 4 coolest TVs at CES 2026 ar...

Google reveals Pixel 10a with one subtle change

Google just randomly dropped a Pixel 10a reveal on YouTube , and there's at least one noticeable change to the phone's design. The video itself is very brief, just showing the phone from a few different angles in a sort of light blue color. No new features or software of any kind are shown, though that's to be expected with a budget version of last year's Pixel 10 . The one really noteworthy thing we can glean from this video is that the rear camera now appears to be totally flush with the body of the device, rather then protruding in any way. SEE ALSO: Google Maps adds Gemini to a major feature in new test That's a mild divergence from last year's Pixel 9a . That phone ditched the signature Pixel horizontal camera bar, but the lens itself still stuck out a bit when viewed from the side. Aside from that, again, we really can't divine anything from this video about the phone itself. Its specs and features will have to wait until Google feels like ...
